Cuscapi Secures RM21 Million Contract To Manage POS System For Existing KLIA Terminal And New LCCT KLIA 2

Kuala Lumpur, 14 February 2014 – Cuscapi Berhad (Cuscapi), Asia’s leading Food & Beverage (F&B) solution system and managed service provider has secured a 5-year contract worth RM 21 million from Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to provide and maintain the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for existing KLIA terminal and the new low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) KLIA 2.

The scope of work under the agreement covers the provision of hardware, software solutions including implementation and yearly maintenance of the POS system for a duration of 5 years.

This fully integrated POS solution will be deployed for all retail units and F&B outlets in the existing KLIA terminal and the new LCCT KLIA 2.

Cuscapi Chief Executive Officer, Mr Her Chor Siong said, “Cuscapi will ensure that all
necessary procurements as well as resources are in place to ensure that the POS system is up and running for the new LCCT KLIA 2 when it opens on May 2.”

The realisation of this new project is expected to contribute positively to the company’s
performance for FY 2014 he added.

Cuscapi’s integrated POS solution is currently supporting all the retailers at the existing KLIA terminal for the past four years. Mr Her attributes the success in securing the POS System project for the new LCCT KLIA 2 to Cuscapi’s proven track record in supporting the existing KLIA terminal. Cuscapi will support close to 100 retail units for both the existing KLIA terminal as well as the new LCCT KLIA 2.

With the LCCT KLIA 2 project under its wing, the Company intends to extend similar services to potential or new airports in the Asian region particularly those countries that have plans underway to expand or upgrade their airports to cater for the huge increase in air traffic and travellers.
