Cuscapi Outsourcing awarded MSC status
 

Kuala Lumpur, Monday (April 6, 2009) – Cuscapi Outsourcing Sdn Bhd (Cuscapi Outsourcing) has been awarded MSC status by the government through the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec). The recognition as one of the players in the Malaysian outsourcing industry further elevates Cuscapi Outsourcing’s prominence in both domestic and international scene.

Under the status, Cuscapi Outsourcing will operate a centre for business process outsourcing, knowledge process outsourcing (in the area of outsourcing methodology), and IT outsourcing (in the area of software product support).

Cuscapi Outsourcing managing director, Francis Meganathan said, “We have been working closely with MDec through our membership of Outsourcing Malaysia to promote outsourcing, both in and out of Malaysia. This recognition further raises our image and adds credentials to us as an outsourcing provider, and endorses the credibility of our solutions, services and team of talents”.

He added more businesses would seek to outsource part, or major portion of their operations as means to effectively sustain business without thinning workforce, or compromising their quality control, and Cuscapi Outsourcing’s strengths lie in its consulting expertise, knowledge and proven methodology to provide value-based solutions that would improve cost effectiveness and ensure outsource business objectives are met.

Commenting on the award, Cuscapi chief executive officer, Danny Leong said that outsourcing is a strategic imperative for further growth especially in difficult times, as it provides businesses an alternative and opportunity to re-strategise operations for better business performance.

Cuscapi Outsourcing is running a centralised call centre for a Shanghai-based chain restaurant, Babela’s Kitchen, a deal which the company recently clinched. The company aims to close a few significant ones in the next few months, while continues to pursue further business opportunities.
